    描述
    概述 A cell-permeable indenofurazinopyrazinone compound that is shown to directly target the F-box protein Met30 subunit of the Skp1-cullin-F-box (SCF) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, disrupting Met30-Skp1 interaction and selectively inhibiting SCFMet30, but not SCFCdc4, E3 ubiquitin ligase activity. SMER3 is reported to act in a synthetic lethal fashion with rapamycin (Cat. Nos. 553210, 553211, & 553212) in both human lung cancer A549 and in yeast cultures. SMER3 treatment (10 to 30 µM) results in cell cycle arrest and morphological phenotype resembling that seen with temperature-sensitive Met30, but not Skp1 or Cdc4, mutant under non-permissive temperature in yeast cultures.
