概述	The Milliplex® MAP Rat Adiponectin Magnetic Bead Single Plex kit contains all the components necessary to measure Adiponectin in serum, plasma, tissue/cell lysates, and culture supernatant samples. The kit uses a 96-well format, contains a lyophilized standard cocktail, 2 quality controls and can measure up to 38 serum or plasma samples in duplicate.
背景信息	Adipocytes secrete a number of hormones called adipokines with functions that include appetite and energy balance and insulin sensitivity. One of these, adiponectin, is involved in the regulation of lipid and glucose metabolism, influencing the body’s response to insulin. Also, its anti-inflammatory effects on the cellular lining of blood vessel walls may help to explain the association of high adiponectin levels with a reduced risk of heart attack. The MILLIPLEX® MAP Rat Adiponectin Magnetic Bead Single Plex kit enables researchers to focus on the therapeutic potential of adiponectin in obesity related disorders of metabolic disease and cardiovascular disease. Coupled with the Luminex xMAP® platform in a magnetic bead format, you receive the advantage of ideal speed and sensitivity, allowing quantitative multiplex detection of dozens of analytes simultaneously, which can dramatically improve productivity.
